its my last night of freedom.
im enjoying it with my sweet hubby.
tomorrow starts a new and crazy chapter in my life.
im so excited!
class from 9-5 tomorrow! wooo!!

aching...

my tummy is aching...
not sure if its nerves-- or lack of sleep-- or stress-- or a bit of everything.

also... kinda aching to be at home now.

my LIL brother... moved to LAGRANGE today!
(it is 2 years later... as in he is 20... but still... HE MOVED THERE!)
to my old college grounds...
wish i could have been there to help him & the girlfriend move in.
i can't wait to see their pics... and relive (through them) my college days! :)

anxiety

duke orientation is tomorrow.
i have a million things to do before then.
im not feeling so hot either.
still exhausted-- and didn't sleep well...
mostly due to the anxiety.
my mind is racing with the things i need to do.
and the thoughts of ... 'what did i get myself into'
oh dear. it could be a long year.

wedding cake

tonight ry&i had a piece of our wedding cake to celebrate our anniversary. ......lets just say it was better the first time. we still ate it all!

this is what i looked at for 12 hours today.
worked on the computer.
had my snack.
had a gatorade.
the only thing missing is the pt...
but that would be illegal to post.

much better day.
i ate twice.
pee'd a few times.
not nearly as crazy.
thank goodness.

ONE. MORE. DAY. then VACCAATTIONNN. :)

exhausted...

12 hours of work...
1 10 minute break to eat a snack...
1 potty break...

that all makes me extremely beat.
and sore.
just exhausted.

i did help save a life today though.
that was pretty much amazing.

only 2 days of work left before im off to the OBX!!!

after 2 years... i feel like i finally have some genuine girl friends here in durham.
im so grateful i have these two gals.
they make life better here in durham.




its fun to have some gals to hang out with, shop with, and enjoy life with!
this was last night... and i'd like to add... this is after these two grabbed their husbands, picked up my husband from my house and then convinced me AFTER 12 hours of work... to hang out.
we did... and it was soooo fun! (:

pool

no worries.
i did jump in that pool.
it was quite warm today- and the pool felt great.
i love soaking up rays- poolside- reading a book.

i tried to get hunger games- checked out of every library i can go to.
so im contemplating buying it.

currently though reading
in cold blood- by capote.

pretty intense- and going quickly.
so ill still have time to read the other book.
:) back to work tomorrow after an amazingly accomplishing 4 days off!

im so happy the way it turned out.
ryan is too.
seems so much more "grown up" and nice.
and only took lots of hours and sweat and a quart of paint.

it was all worth it though!
we have a fabulous new dining room.

3 chairs with their first coat!

i painted a lot today... a whollle lot. i have 3 of the chairs done with 2 coats- and plan on finishing the other one up in the morning. then will be painting the table legs!

almost done with this MAJOR project. ...yeah i didn't realize painting chairs was sooo difficult. and annoying! its been fun though. i enjoy it. :)
