stocking time!

oh. oh ohhhh my.
ive finished my first semester of grad school!
i am so excited.
and relieved. and
PUMPED.
i am OFF UNTIL JANUARY 19!!!
did you see that... jan 19!
thats a lonnnNG time.

ive already addressed and sent all of my christmas cards.
and have found patterns to make our stockings.
(me & ry need new ones. we still have the ones from our sophomore year of college...


these are the ones.
and this is the night we made them in my dorm.
oh the life.
anyway-- i want to make some for us to have that will be a bit nicer- but still sweet and homemade. found some awesome patterns- so going to mix a few and make my own!
well our own! (:

also going to make my BEST friend's garter tomorrow.

and get my hair cut.
its overdue.
hopefully she will be able to cut my hair- while leaving it as long as possible.

my project tonight.... christmas cards!

distractions

im reallllly good at finding things to distract me from studying.
such as...
- changing my blog around
- talking to mom
- returning something to bestbuy
-buying stamps
- going shoe shopping
- and then blogging

two tests tomorrow and im lacking motivation to study.
not. much. longer.
i just keep telling myself it will be over soon.

2 weeks until macminn mountain christmas.
3 weeks until a night in savannah with the sniders.
3 weeks 1day until im reunited with my best friend!
3 weeks 4 days and she gets marrrieed!

exciting times ahead. :)

perfect study conditions....

snow!

it snowed today.
for lots of hours.
and stuck.
and its soooo pretty.
i opened all of my blinds in the house so i could see it at all times.
it will probably melt all away tomorrow.
but thats ok.
it was beautiful while it lasted!
im hoping since it snowed so early-- maybe, just maybe, me and ryan will have a white christmas!

before i begin... dashboard confessional. in concert. amazing.
wassss soooo much fun.
loved it.


well team. its that time again.
finals.
the first semester of grad school is coming to a close.
and i have 2 tests and another graded patient simulation.
patient simulation being i have a fake patient that i have to come into the room- assess- ask all the right questions- listen in all the right places- do all the right stuff-- then come up with some differential diagnosis. all in 20 minutes. and its all graded. (well pass/fail) lovely fun.
and then 2 tests.
luckily-- i have an awesome job. and they gave me an entire week off of work for finals.
so i can study. write. study. and study more.

so thats what ill be doing for the next 6 days.
see you next weekend--- as a free girl!
